| Adaptive Service Management: Import Alerts |
  The

Import Alerts page allows you to import
Consumable Alert Definitions and related data from
  another Central system.
The page may only be accessed by Administrators and Admin Dealers Users with appropriate Admin Features access from the main ASM Module page -> Maintenance -> Import Alerts.
This page provides
  a wizard interface to
  import
Consumable Alerts into the system. The steps fall into two categories:
  information steps and
  configuration steps (where interaction might
be required or optional). During the configuration steps, decisions such as dealer
matching, alert selection or validating and overwriting Action Handler Settings
  can be made.
The import wizard requires the following steps:
| File selection: browse to select a compatible fmasm formatted file – exported by FMA Central v2.x or higher; |
| Security password: the password that protects the file to be imported by unauthorized users; |
| Import file summary: contains generic information about the file being imported such as: File Date, number of accounts, number of alerts and file version; |
| Dealer matching: contains two grids with the Source Dealers (as specified in the import file) on the left side and the Target Dealers (as existing in the FMA Central database). For each selected Source Dealer, one or more target dealers can be selected. The saving of the dealer matching is done by pressing the Apply button under the Target Dealers grid. On loading this step if the specified dealers in the import file are found in the database, the identified records are by default checked; |
| Consumable
      Alerts selection:

allows the selection of alerts to import for
each of the previously selected target dealers. Again the saving of the selection
is done by clicking the Apply
button under Consumable alert grid. The change between different target dealers
is done by clicking on the Select
link next to each dealer in the top grid. The Consumable Alerts are presented
with most relevant fields, in a similar manner to other alert page listings
      – Alerts Hierarchy. |
| Action Handler
      Settings:

this step constrains the user to manually check
all Action Handler Settings to be imported
(loaded in the upper grid). By default all settings are unchecked. The check
can be performed against the existing settings displayed in the lower grid.
Additionally there is an overwrite option for each of the imported handler
settings. In case no corresponding action handler setting exist in the current
database, there is no need to check the overwrite option in order to import.
The loading and display of Action Handler Settings is done according to the
dealer selected in the upper dropdown list. |
| Action
      Definitions:
      this
step displays the Action Definitions to import for each Consumable Alert.
It's possible to invalidate Action Definitions by un-checking the Valid field.
This will cause the parent Consumable Alert to be disabled after import. The
current step has three grids with the following subsequent precedence: Target
Dealers, Consumable Alert Definitions and finally the Action Definitions.
The selection of both dealers and alerts is done by clicking the corresponding
      Select
link. This is the last step before the actual import. |

      Import
      Summary:

this step presents the status of the import.
If successful, no warnings will be displayed, otherwise there are two grids
with possible warnings for: Consumable Alert Definitions and Action Handler
Settings. In each row of the grids there will be a warning message with a
link to the imported item. |
